Locums Emergency Medicine Physician — Kingwood/Houston, TX (Academic ED, GME)

A busy, academically affiliated Emergency Department in Kingwood (Houston), Texas is seeking a locum Emergency Medicine physician to join an experienced, collaborative team. This position offers exposure to a diverse patient population, robust specialty support, and an active graduate medical education program.

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of emergency conditions
• Perform ED procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostics
• Collaborate with residents, specialists, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
• Document patient encounters accurately in Meditech

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
• Completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency required
• Ultrasound fellowship preferred
• Active TX medical license or ability to obtain licensure; current DEA registration
• ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications as required
