Job Description

Join a respected anesthesia team in Ocala, Florida. Practice autonomously with physician support, flexible self-scheduling, and exposure to a broad surgical case mix. New graduates and experienced CRNAs welcome.

Practice and Team

  • Autonomous CRNA practice within a collaborative, physician-supported group
  • Supportive, collegial environment with mentoring opportunities (including SRNA precepting)
  • Flexible self-scheduling via QGenda (not based on seniority)

Work Schedule

  • Full-time: 80 hours bi-weekly
  • Shift options: 8-, 10-, 12-, 16-hour OR shifts; 24-hour trauma shifts
  • Minimal call: no traditional call
    • ~4–5 evening shifts (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) per year
    • One weekend shift per month
  • Overtime: time-and-a-half pay for hours beyond 80 hours per pay period

Case Mix and Volume

  • Diverse case mix: General Surgery, Gynecology, ENT, Urology, Orthopedics, Spine, Vascular, Cardiovascular, Neurosurgery, Robotics, Gastroenterology
  • Annual volume: ~12,000 surgical cases across two sites; >700 cardiac procedures per year

Qualifications

  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist; NBCRNA board certified
  • Active Florida APRN license or eligibility to obtain
  • New graduates encouraged to apply
  • ATLS required for providers on the trauma team
