Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician — Level II Trauma Center (Webster, TX)

Join a busy Level II Trauma Center in Webster, Texas, as a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician and be part of a skilled, collaborative Emergency Department team. You’ll work in a high-acuity environment with excellent specialty backup, modern technology, and a multidisciplinary team focused on timely, evidence-based care.

• A Level II Trauma Center with about 50,000 ED visits per year and a 36-bed Emergency Department.
• Separate adult and pediatric emergency areas and an accredited Cycle III Chest Pain Center.
• Strong, physician-led teamwork and comprehensive specialty support.
• Electronic charting with Meditech.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients across a broad range of emergency conditions.
• Care for high-acuity medical and traumatic cases, stabilize critically ill or injured patients, and perform emergency procedures within the scope of emergency medicine.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostics; coordinate care with specialists, nursing, and ancillary teams.
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in Meditech.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
• Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain one; current DEA registration.
• Current ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications (as required).
