Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon — Predictable Schedule, Strong Clinical Support (AZ)

This role supports a Level II Trauma Center and offers collaboration with an experienced orthopedic trauma team in a well-resourced, collegial environment. The practice manages a balanced mix of operative and non-operative trauma care with a strong focus on quality outcomes and patient-centered treatment. Opportunities are available in Tucson, Phoenix, Glendale, and Mesa.

Schedule

• 183 total 24-hour shifts annually.
• Blocked scheduling with seven-day rotations and built-in recovery time between rotations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients.
• Participate in trauma call coverage and manage a broad range of fracture care and orthopedic injuries.
• Coordinate care with trauma surgery, emergency medicine, hospitalists, and rehabilitation teams.
• Balance surgical cases, inpatient care, and follow-up clinic responsibilities.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship completion preferred.
• Experience managing orthopedic trauma in a hospital-based setting.
• Eligible for Arizona medical licensure and able to obtain/maintain hospital privileges.
