Locum Tenens Sleep Medicine Physician (Board-Certified) — Outpatient, Berlin NH

Location: Berlin, New Hampshire — locum tenens coverage (temporary)

Practice setting and schedule

• 100% outpatient
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No call, no weekends, no inpatient responsibilities
• EMR: Meditech Expanse

Core responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage the full spectrum of sleep disorders (OSA, insomnia, hypersomnia, RLS, REM sleep behavior disorder, circadian rhythm disorders, etc.)
• Interpret sleep studies and attended polysomnography
• Manage PAP therapy (CPAP/BiPAP), monitor adherence and treatment effectiveness
• Prescribe and manage medications for sleep disorders
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing; coordinate DME as required
• Provide patient and family education on diagnoses and long-term management
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists, sleep technologists, PCPs, pulmonologists, neurologists, cardiologists, ENT, and other specialists
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR

Required qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine or related specialty
• Board Certified in Sleep Medicine (required)
• Active New Hampshire medical license or ability to obtain
• Current BLS certification

Preferred

• Dual Board Certification in Pulmonary Medicine
