Job Description

Join a growing outpatient gastroenterology team in Buffalo, Wyoming, as a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This role offers a flexible Monday–Friday schedule, competitive compensation, a production bonus, and the opportunity to practice in a scenic rural setting with experienced GI providers. No prior gastroenterology experience is required; clinicians with strong primary care or internal medicine backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Position details

  • Setting: Outpatient gastroenterology serving adult patients
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • Patient volume: ~12–16 patients per day
  • Weekly locations: 2 days in Sheridan, 2 days in Gillette/Buffalo, 1 remote administrative day
  • Travel: Inter-clinic travel reimbursed; expenses between locations covered

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage adults with acute and chronic GI conditions
  • Perform new patient consultations and follow-up visits
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies
  • Develop treatment plans and provide patient education
  • Collaborate with gastroenterologists and clinical staff to ensure patient-centered care
  • Complete timely, accurate EMR documentation

Compensation and benefits

  • Base salary: $115,000–$125,000 annually
  • 45% production bonus

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program and board certified
  • Eligible for or holding a Wyoming license
  • Preferred background: primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine (GI training provided)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
