Outpatient Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant — Sheridan, WY

Join a growing outpatient gastroenterology team in beautiful rural Wyoming. This full-time role offers a flexible Monday–Friday schedule, competitive compensation, and the chance to practice alongside experienced gastroenterologists while serving adult patients across multiple clinic locations.

Position overview

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, full time (12–16 patients per day)
• Practice setting: Outpatient gastroenterology
• Patient population: Adults
• Weekly structure: 2 days in Sheridan, 2 days in Gillette/Buffalo, 1 remote administrative day
• Travel: Expenses between clinic locations fully covered

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage adults with acute and chronic GI conditions
• Perform new patient consultations and follow-up visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
• Develop treatment plans and provide patient education
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists and clinical staff to ensure patient-centered care
• Maintain timely, accurate EMR documentation

Compensation and benefits

• Base salary: $115,000–$125,000 annually
• 45% production bonus

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program; Board certified
• Eligible for or holding an active Wyoming license
• Preferred background in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine
• No prior gastroenterology experience required—training provided
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
