Locum Invasive Cardiologist — $2,800/day, 1:2 Call, EPIC, Mix Clinic/Procedures in Alpena, MI

Board Certified or Board Eligible invasive cardiology locum tenens opportunity in Alpena, MI. Compensation: $2,800/day.

Schedule and Call

• Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
• 1:2 call coverage

Practice Setting and Workflow

• Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital coverage
• Daily balance of clinic visits, inpatient rounding, and procedural time
• EMR: EPIC with Dragon dictation

Clinical Duties

• New and established patient visits
• Inpatient rounding
• Interpretation of imaging and cardiac testing
• Procedures as appropriate to experience, including:
  • Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
  • Cardioversions
  • Loop recorder implant/explant
  • Diagnostic catheterizations (optional, not required)

Requirements

• Active Michigan medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Diagnostic catheterization skills preferred but not required
