PRN Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant — Atlanta Area (Multiple GA Sites)

We are seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our primary care team on a PRN (as-needed) basis across multiple Atlanta-area locations: Alpharetta, Atlanta, Braselton, Dallas, Decatur, Duluth, and Tyrone, GA.

Schedule and expectations

• PRN: no minimum weekly commitment required
• Must complete three full training days before scheduling clinical shifts
• Complete all credentialing requirements prior to first shift
• Provide availability in advance; shifts are assigned based on organizational needs
• Open shifts will be posted; providers may pick up shifts that fit their schedule
• To maintain PRN status, must pick up at least one offered shift per month (when available)

Compensation

• Competitive pay aligned with experience and market rates

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care including assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions
• Perform physical exams and preventive health screenings
• Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with Georgia regulations
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program
• Active, unrestricted Georgia NP or PA license
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain one
• Preferred: 1–2 years primary care experience; strong new graduates with relevant clinical training will be considered
