Locum CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) — Sault Ste. Marie, MI (Clinic + Call; 1-2 yrs)

Location: Sault Ste. Marie, MI — Locum CRNA role (mix of clinic and on-call coverage)

Schedule

• Clinic: Mon–Thu, 07:00–15:30
• Call rotation: 1:4 or 1:5 (includes weekdays and weekends)
  • Weekday call: 15:00–07:00
  • Weekend call: 15:00 Friday–07:00 Monday
  • Weekend call frequency: ~1 night per week
• Case mix: ~85% outpatient / 15% inpatient

Case Types

• Endoscopy
• General surgery
• OB/GYN
• Orthopedics
• Urology
• Regional blocks preferred but not required
• No cardiac or neurosurgery
• Documentation: EPIC; voice recognition: Dragon

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative anesthesia care for listed case types
• Cover scheduled clinic cases and respond to on-call urgent/emergent cases
• Perform spinals, epidurals, venous and arterial catheter placement
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to maintain quality patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan CRNA license
• NBCRNA certification
• 1–2 years CRNA experience preferred
• Proficiency with spinals, epidurals, venous and arterial catheters
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
