Locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon — Richmond, IN (TAVR Experience Required)

Join a locum cardiothoracic surgery opportunity in Richmond, Indiana, providing a balanced mix of operative, clinic, and inpatient care. This assignment is well suited to an experienced surgeon who values a predictable operative schedule alongside office-based consultations and focused post‑operative management.

Typical schedule and responsibilities:

• Morning surgical block for cardiothoracic procedures (TAVR experience required).
• Afternoon clinic for pre-op evaluations, consultations, and post‑op follow‑ups.
• Management of post‑operative patients in the ICU (average census 2–5 patients).
• As‑needed emergency, inpatient, and ER call coverage. No outpatient office call responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Board certification in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Active Indiana medical license.
• TAVR procedural experience (mandatory).
• BLS certification (AHA-issued).
