Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician — Sanford, FL

We’re looking for an experienced Emergency Medicine physician to join our team on a locum tenens basis in Sanford, FL. This is a flexible opportunity to work in varied emergency department settings, delivering high-quality, time-sensitive care to patients with a wide range of acute conditions.

In this role you’ll:

• Perform focused assessments, including history-taking, physical exams, and interpretation of diagnostic tests
• Stabilize and treat medical and traumatic emergencies
• Develop and implement treatment plans, ranging from medication management to minor procedures and other interventions
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team to ensure smooth transitions and follow-up

What we’re looking for:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
• Active Florida medical license
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
