Non-Invasive Cardiologist — Academic-Track, Multi-State Regional Program in Martinsburg, WV

Join a growing cardiovascular team in Eastern West Virginia as a full-time non-invasive cardiology physician. You’ll focus on non-invasive and general cardiology care across inpatient and outpatient settings, working closely with interventional cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams. The role may include periodic coverage at affiliated sites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania to support regional access and continuity of care. There is also an option to take part in resident education and other academic activities.

Core responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered general cardiology care in both hospital and clinic environments
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists and multidisciplinary colleagues to coordinate care
• Cover additional clinical sites across WV, MD, and PA as assigned to support regional services
• Engage in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives
• Optional involvement in teaching and mentoring residents to support the program’s academic mission

Qualifications

• MD or DO (or equivalent) from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiology Fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Eligible for medical licensure in West Virginia, with the ability to obtain licensure in Maryland and Pennsylvania as needed
• Commitment to collaborative, patient-focused care; interest in academic medicine and resident education is a plus
