Job Description
Join an established orthopedic surgery program serving a rural community near Reno, Nevada. Full-scope practice with emphasis on total joints and reconstructive surgery. Fly-in model with full travel and licensing support; no relocation required.

- Balanced elective and acute orthopedic caseload
- Predictable schedule: 10 shifts/month providing 24/7 ED orthopedic call coverage
- Shifts selected 120 days in advance
- Fly-in model: licensing and all travel expenses covered
- Hospitalist-supported admissions
- Focus on growing elective volume: total joint replacement, arthroscopy, hand, basic fracture care
- Onsite clinic with protected OR time
- Collaborative, established surgical team
Compensation & Benefits
- $3,195 per shift
- Full benefits: medical, CME, 401(k)
- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage
- No non-compete agreement
Requirements
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship training or strong experience in Total Joint Replacement preferred
- Eligible for Nevada medical licensure (licensing support provided)
- Ability to manage elective and acute orthopedic cases
- Willingness to provide ED call coverage per program model
- Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care
