Requirements
- Valid, active Physical Therapy Assistant state license.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising Physical Therapist with patient evaluations and implement prescribed treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
- Apply modalities and operate therapeutic equipment safely and appropriately.
- Instruct patients in exercise techniques and teach patients/families home exercise and recovery programs.
- Document treatments and progress accurately in patient records.
- Communicate and coordinate with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team.
- Follow all safety, infection control, and facility protocols.
