Rate: $1,848 per 35-hour week (local)
Requirements:
- Valid, active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and evaluate home/clinical environments to identify functional limitations and establish measurable goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using appropriate therapeutic techniques to improve activities of daily living (ADLs) and independence.
- Recommend, train in, and document use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
- Educate patients and caregivers on condition management, safety, and strategies to promote independence.
- Monitor and document patient progress; adjust interventions as needed and communicate findings with the interdisciplinary care team.
