Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 7-Week Contract, Albuquerque, NM (Start Aug 1, 2026)

Join our team in Albuquerque, NM for a 7-week contract (non-travel) starting Aug 1, 2026. This position is scheduled for Sunday, Friday, and Saturday, with a 36-hour local rate of $1,019.

Requirements:

• Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license for the state of New Mexico.
• Current BLS certification.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician direction, including comprehensive patient assessments.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments and document responses.
• Perform wound care: evaluate, clean, dress, and monitor for signs of infection or complications.
• Monitor and record vital signs consistently and maintain accurate patient records.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and self-care practices.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and follow infection control and safety protocols.
