Adelphi is hiring Behavior Technicians to deliver school-based behavioral support services in Plano, Texas. You will work with educational teams to implement positive behavior strategies and individualized interventions that promote student safety, participation, and success.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in education, psychology, or a related field preferred
• Familiarity with positive behavior supports and basic data collection practices
• RBT certification preferred (required only if specified by the assignment)
• School-based experience preferred

Primary responsibilities

• Implement behavior support plans under the direction of a BCBA, teacher, or designated supervisor
• Provide individualized or small-group support for students with behavioral needs
• Collect, document, and report data on student behavior, interventions, and progress
• Reinforce communication, social, academic, and functional skills
• Support classroom routines, transitions, and student engagement in educational activities
• Use approved de-escalation, redirection, and crisis-prevention techniques
• Communicate observations and concerns to supervising professionals and the educational team
• Maintain student confidentiality and accurate service records
• Perform other related duties as assigned
