We’re seeking a board-certified OB/GYN to provide locum tenens inpatient coverage at a hospital in Cincinnati, OH. This is an ongoing supplemental assignment with ASAP start and 12-hour shifts (7a–7p or 7p–7a). Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage inpatient and ED obstetric and gynecologic patients, including daily rounding and coordinating discharges.
• Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Provide emergency gynecologic consultations and perform emergent gynecologic surgeries.
• Collaborate closely with midwives and residents as part of the care team.

• Patient population: OB/GYN patients
• Average daily volume: typically 0–6 patients
• Admissions and rounding required
• Case mix includes obstetrics and gynecology

Privileges and credentialing

• Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges may be available on a case-by-case basis
• Typical credentialing timeline: approximately 4 months

Requirements

• Board-certified (BC) in OB/GYN
• Ohio medical license or participation in the IMLC
• Active DEA registration
• ACLS certification
