Adelphi is hiring Music Therapists to work with students at schools in Lake Worth, Texas. You’ll assess each student’s strengths and needs and deliver individualized, evidence-based music therapy to support educational, behavioral, communication, social-emotional, and developmental goals. This is a contract position, Monday–Friday (specific schedule to be determined) at a rate of $50/hr.

What we’re looking for

• MT-BC (Board Certified Music Therapist) credential
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Music Therapy from an accredited program
• School-based or pediatric music therapy experience is preferred

What you’ll do

• Complete music therapy assessments to identify students’ educational, developmental, behavioral, communication, and social-emotional needs
• Design and deliver individualized, evidence-based music therapy interventions that align with students’ IEP goals
• Provide both individual and group sessions using a range of musical activities, instruments, and techniques appropriate to each student
• Take part in ARD/IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other related-service professionals
• Track student progress, evaluate how well interventions are working, and make data-driven adjustments as needed
• Keep accurate, timely, and FERPA-compliant service records, progress notes, and evaluation reports
• Perform other duties as assigned
