Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Texas SLP license and ASHA CCC-SLP
- Demonstrated bilingual proficiency in English and the student’s primary language
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive bilingual evaluations using culturally and linguistically appropriate assessment tools
- Provide speech and language therapy in the student’s dominant language when appropriate to ensure equitable access
- Accurately document language(s) of assessment and service delivery per IDEA and district requirements
- Collaborate with families, bilingual educators, and multidisciplinary team members to support student progress
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and provide compliant, data-driven recommendations
- Perform other duties as assigned
