Requirements:
- Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) state license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician supervision.
- Conduct patient assessments and implement prescribed medications and treatments.
- Monitor, document, and report vital signs and patient status changes.
- Perform wound care: evaluate, clean, dress, and monitor for infection/complications.
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records and communicate care plans.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care as appropriate.
- Respond promptly in medical emergencies and follow infection control and safety protocols.
