Contract (Non-Travel) opportunity in Parkersburg, WV — start date: Aug 1, 2026 — duration: 8 weeks — schedule: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM — Local rate: $2,636/40 hours.

We are seeking an experienced nursing leader to direct clinical operations and foster a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate will combine strong clinical knowledge with proven leadership, staff development, and quality management skills.

Qualifications:

• Active, valid Registered Nurse license in the state.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
• Prior nursing leadership experience, preferably as a Director of Nursing.
• BLS certification.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor nursing staff to create a positive, team-focused workplace.
• Oversee and coordinate patient care delivery, ensuring adherence to policies and clinical protocols.
• Recruit, orient, and supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs; support ongoing staff development.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and lead quality assurance, infection control, and patient safety initiatives.
• Manage the nursing department budget efficiently.
• Advocate for patients, address concerns, and promote patient-centered care.
