Night Shift Respiratory Therapist — $48.30/hr | Athens, GA | Weekend Contract (AugOct 2026)

We’re seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a bundled contract in Athens, GA. This is a part-time, weekend-focused assignment running 08/08/2026 through 10/31/2026, with 25 overnight shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Pay is $48.30/hr.

Schedule snapshot (weekend nights):

• August: Sat/Sun 8/8–8/9, 8/15–8/16, 8/22–8/23, 8/29–8/30
• September: Sat/Sun every weekend 9/5–9/27
• October: Sat/Sun 10/3–10/25 plus Sat 10/31

What we’re looking for:

• Active RT license/certification to practice in Georgia.
• At least 1 year of hospital or acute care experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS.
• Strong working knowledge of ventilators and oxygen delivery systems.
• Excellent assessment and critical-thinking skills, and comfort in fast-paced, high-acuity settings.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory disorders.
• Administer oxygen therapy and inhaled medications.
• Manage mechanical ventilation, perform airway management, suctioning, and pulmonary hygiene.
• Document care and patient responses accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment use.
• Work closely with physicians and the care team to develop and adjust treatment plans.
