Job Description
North Alabama Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurologist to join our growing neuroscience program in beautiful Florence, Alabama. Whether you're looking for a dedicated inpatient role or a combination of inpatient and outpatient practice, we offer two flexible 7-on/7-off scheduling models designed to support both your career and your lifestyle.
As a Certified Primary Stroke Center and regional referral center serving rural communities across northwest Alabama, North Alabama Medical Center provides the opportunity to care for a diverse and complex patient population while practicing alongside an experienced, collaborative team.

Option 1: Neurohospitalist
- 100% inpatient neurology
- 7-on/7-off schedule
- Shared call coverage
Option 2: Hybrid Neurology
- 7-on/7-off schedule
- Half-day inpatient rounding and half-day outpatient clinic during scheduled work week
- Shared call coverage

Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Eligible for Alabama medical licensure

North Alabama Medical Center (NAMC) is a 263-bed health care organization that will open its doors to patients on December 6, 2018. The facility is a replacement hospital for Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, AL.
NAMC has grown into the most comprehensive medical facility in northwest Alabama, south central Tennessee, and northeast Mississippi. The facility is the home of northwest Alabama’s only full-service heart/cardiac program. NAMC's 24-hour emergency department serves as the primary referral center for major trauma cases in northwest Alabama. We have over 200 physicians on staff representing over 42 specialty areas of medicine.
