Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, including histories and risk evaluations
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications; create individualized treatment plans
• Deliver preventive care and patient education
• Refer to specialists and coordinate interdisciplinary care with timely follow-up and communication
• Supervise Nurse Practitioners when applicable (additional stipend)
• Maintain punctual clinic flow to ensure patients are seen as scheduled

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM); Board Eligible must be within 5 years of residency completion
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in primary care or urgent care; supervisory experience preferred
• Active Florida medical license and current DEA registration
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
