Job Description

Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Cardiology team in Warsaw, Indiana! We offer an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced Cardiologists and APPs in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Experienced NPs are preferred, but highly motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply!

Your Role

As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, you’ll provide comprehensive care across both inpatient and outpatient settings, with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and their families.

Position highlights include:

  • Inpatient and outpatient clinic rotations for a well-rounded clinical experience
  • No call required — enjoy greater work-life balance
  • Obtain patient histories and perform comprehensive examinations
  • Assess patients and develop or revise individualized plans of care
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
  • Supervise stress testing
  • Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care
  • Collaborate closely with a team of experienced Cardiologists and APPs

About Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital

Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital is located in Warsaw, Indiana and is centrally located between Fort Wayne, Indiana and Chicago. This 72-bed facility is a member of the Lutheran Health Network and has achieved 100 Top Hospital status from Thomason Reuters as recently as 2011. LKH offers a newly renovated 14-bed intensive care unit and an 18-bed emergency department. Services include cardiology, women’s services, oncology, orthopedic surgery, diagnostic services, wellness and weight management, wound care, ophthalmology, obstetrics, inpatient and outpatient surgery, occupational health, urgent care, ENT clinics and rehabilitation services.
