Job Summary:

HCA HealthONE Rocky Mountain Children’s is seeking a PRN Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist to provide intermittent coverage and support our growing pediatric cardiology and congenital heart program. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to children with congenital heart disease while contributing to the continued growth of a comprehensive pediatric cardiovascular service line.

 

The ideal candidate will provide procedural and clinical support as needed, participate in interventional cardiac catheterization services, collaborate with cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery colleagues, and help ensure seamless, high-quality care for our pediatric patients and families. This flexible PRN role is well suited for an experienced pediatric interventional cardiologist seeking additional practice opportunities within a rapidly evolving congenital heart program.

 

Qualified Candidates:

  • Board certified in Pediatric Cardiology
  • Fellowship trained in Pediatric Interventional Cardiology
  • Current eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Colorado
  • Minimum of two years of post-fellowship practice experience preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary pediatric heart team
  • Interest in supporting the continued growth and development of a comprehensive congenital heart program

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide PRN coverage for pediatric interventional cardiology services
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures for congenital and acquired heart conditions
  • Participate in inpatient and outpatient pediatric cardiology care as needed
  • Collaborate with pediatric cardiac surgeons, intensivists, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and advanced practice providers
  • Support quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical excellence initiatives
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary case reviews and cardiac conferences
  • Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation
