About the Position:
A rapidly growing private neurology group serving the greater San Jose area, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible neurohospitalist or vascular/stroke neurologist to join our expanding team. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice a balanced mix of inpatient neurology and outpatient stroke care in one of the most desirable regions of Northern California, with a schedule designed for sustainability and true work–life balance.
Position Highlights:
  • Inpatient focus – Round on the inpatient neurology service five days per week, plus two weekends per month.
  • Weekly outpatient clinic – One clinic day per week dedicated to neurovascular follow-up and general neurology patients.
  • No call – ever – This position involves no call. All emergent and after-hours consults are covered by our teleneurology service.
  • Private group setting – Join a rapidly growing, physician-led private group with a collegial, collaborative culture.
  • Flexible employment model – W-2 employment or 1099 independent contractor arrangements available to suit your preference.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive salary commensurate with training and experience.
  • Four weeks of vacation per year for the first three years; five weeks annually thereafter.
  • Choice of W-2 or 1099 compensation structure.
  • Clear pathway for long-term growth within an expanding practice.
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO with completed neurology residency; vascular neurology fellowship training preferred but not required for experienced neurohospitalists.
  • Board certified or board eligible in neurology.
  • Eligible for an unrestricted California medical license.
