CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our growing team as the third radiation oncologist in a thriving multidisciplinary cancer program. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice high-quality, patient-centered oncology in a collaborative environment while serving a diverse population across Northern New Mexico. The newly completed, architecturally striking Cancer Center brings together comprehensive multidisciplinary cancer care under one roof, including radiation oncology, medical oncology, breast surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and supportive care services. This integrated model fosters seamless collaboration among specialists, providing patients with coordinated, high-quality care throughout their cancer journey.

Treatment Delivery

  • Two Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators

  • Varian Bravos HDR brachytherapy system
  • Advanced image guidance with fiducial tracking capabilities
  • Respiratory motion management and gated treatment delivery
  • Triggered imaging for real-time treatment verification
  • Onsite CT, PET, and MRI imaging

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited Radiation Oncology residency program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
  • Eligible for unrestricted New Mexico medical licensure
  • Interest in SBRT, SRS, CNS radiosurgery, brachytherapy, and advanced image-guided radiation therapy preferred
