Locums CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) — Winchester, VA (Weekday, No Call)

Location: Winchester, Virginia — hospital and ambulatory surgery center

Schedule

• Weekday coverage only (Monday–Friday)
• No call, no weekends
• Flexible shift options: 4×10 (8:00 AM–6:00 PM), 5×10, 3×12, or 4×12
• Full-time preferred; providers available 2–3 weeks/month will be considered

Practice Model

• Hospital-based anesthesia team in a collaborative 1:4 care team model with anesthesiologist support
• Adult patient population
• Daily electrophysiology (EP) coverage
• Limited OB exposure (possible future expansion)
• No cardiac anesthesia

Typical Case Volume and Mix

• Daily volume: ~2 complex procedures to 15 endoscopy cases
• Case types: General surgery, orthopedics, endoscopy, electrophysiology, limited obstetrics

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for surgical and procedural cases
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop anesthesia plans
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage post-anesthesia care
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff to ensure patient safety and quality
• Complete accurate documentation in Epic EMR

Qualifications

• NBCRNA certified
• Active Virginia license or eligible for Virginia licensure
• Minimum 3–5 years of CRNA experience
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong general anesthesia skills; spinal and epidural experience preferred
