Job Description
Board Certified or Board Eligible invasive cardiology locum tenens opportunity in Alpena, MI. Compensation: $2,800 per day.
Schedule and Setting
- Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts, plus call
- Call: 1:2
- Mixed outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital coverage
- EMR: Epic with Dragon dictation
Clinical Duties
- New and established outpatient visits
- Inpatient rounding
- Interpret imaging and testing
- Perform procedures as appropriate to experience:
- Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
- Cardioversions
- Loop recorder implant/explant
- Diagnostic catheterizations optional (preferred but not required)
Requirements
- Active Michigan medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- ACLS and BLS certification
- Diagnostic cath skills preferred, not required
Location
- Alpena, MI: small city on Lake Huron in northeast Lower Peninsula with a close-knit community and lake-country access.
