Hybrid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) — Frederick, MD (1099)

Position summary
Provide psychiatric assessment, medication management, and ongoing care for children, adolescents, and young adults in a hybrid model (onsite + telehealth) as part of an interdisciplinary behavioral health team in Frederick, MD.

Core responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and risk assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and medication plans
• Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other team members
• Document care in the EHR and participate in weekly clinical consultation/peer review

Schedule

• Minimum 12 hours per week
• At least 5 hours per week onsite
• Flexible scheduling

Compensation and support

• Hourly rate (1099): $120–$140
• Sign-on bonus up to $10,000
• Full credentialing support (handled by employer)

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania
• PMHNP board certification (ANCC or AANP)
• DEA registration and Maryland prescriptive authority
• Minimum 2 years independent PMHNP experience
• At least 1 year experience treating children, adolescents, or young adults
• Proficient with EHR systems and Google Workspace
• Reliable computer, phone, and high-speed internet for telehealth services
