Job Description

Join a close-knit team caring for post-acute and long-term patients across skilled nursing facilities in Traverse City, Michigan. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule, collaborative colleagues, and an opportunity to lead clinical care while making a real difference in patients’ lives.

You’ll work alongside experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care and clinical oversight at assigned facilities. New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure are welcome to apply.

Locations

  • Primary: Traverse City, Michigan
  • Additional Michigan opportunities: Escanaba and Howell
  • Other facility opportunities in: Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina, and Wisconsin

What the role looks like

  • Full-time coverage of local skilled nursing facilities
  • Typically cover each facility 1–2 days per week
  • No fixed start/end times, no overnight shifts, and no on-call responsibilities
  • Expect about 18–25 visits per day
  • Flexible schedule designed to support work-life balance
  • Company-provided iPad with LTE for efficient documentation

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
  • Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
