Job Description

Join a team dedicated to high-quality care for post-acute and long-term patients across skilled nursing facilities in Escanaba, Michigan. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule, a collaborative practice environment, and the chance to lead clinical care while working closely with experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

What you’ll do

  • Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care as the attending physician across assigned skilled nursing facilities.
  • Partner with NPs and PAs to manage admissions, ongoing care, and transitions.
  • Serve as a clinical leader and resource within the facility, ensuring high standards of care and clear communication with staff and families.

Schedule and practice style

  • Full-time position covering local facilities, typically 1–2 days per week at each site.
  • No fixed start/end times, no overnight shifts, and no call responsibilities.
  • Expect to see about 18–25 visits per day.
  • Flexible schedule supports a healthy work–life balance.
  • Company provides an iPad with LTE for efficient documentation.

Other locations

  • Additional facility opportunities available in Howell and Traverse City, MI, and in KS, MO, NC, and WI.

Compensation and benefits

Who we’re looking for

  • MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • A commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
