Outpatient Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant — Buffalo, WY

Join a growing outpatient gastroenterology team in beautiful, rural Wyoming. We’re looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who wants a full-time role with a flexible schedule, strong compensation, and the chance to work alongside experienced gastroenterologists. No previous GI experience is necessary—providers with solid primary care or internal medicine backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

What the role looks like

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time
• Patient population: Adults, seeing roughly 12–16 patients per day
• Weekly routine: 2 days in Sheridan, 2 days in Gillette/Buffalo, and 1 remote day for administrative work
• Travel: Mileage and travel expenses between clinic locations are fully covered

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage adults with acute and chronic GI conditions
• Perform new patient consultations and follow-up visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
• Develop treatment plans and provide patient education
• Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists and clinic staff to deliver patient-centered care
• Maintain timely, accurate EMR documentation

Compensation and benefits

• Salary: $115,000–$125,000 annually
• 45% production bonus

Who we’re looking for

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program and board certified
• Wyoming license active or eligible
• Background in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine preferred
• No prior gastroenterology experience required—training will be provided
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
