Locum Tenens Level II Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon — Rapid City, SD

Join a respected Rapid City, SD orthopedic team as a full-time locum orthopedic trauma surgeon, providing expert care for acute musculoskeletal injuries across a high-volume trauma service. You will manage operative and non-operative treatment of fractures and complex trauma cases, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to patient flow and quality initiatives, and support resident and staff education as needed.

Compensation and benefits

• Competitive pay: $4,500–$5,000 per day
• Above-market hourly rate plus per-shift pay

Required qualifications

• MD or DO and completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency
• Fellowship training or substantial clinical experience in Orthopedic Trauma
• Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active or eligible medical license for South Dakota
