Locum Tenens Cardiovascular (Cardiothoracic) Surgeon — Greenville, SC (July 36; 24hr Call)

Hospital-based cardiovascular surgery locum position in Greenville, SC covering holiday weekend call.

Location and Schedule

• Greenville, South Carolina
• Shift: 24-hour call coverage
• Coverage dates: Friday, July 3, 5:00 PM – Monday, July 6, 7:00 AM
• Weekend/on-call coverage required
• Practice setting: hospital inpatient rounding and operative coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Provide cardiovascular surgery call coverage for the assigned weekend
• Perform inpatient hospital rounds and manage cardiovascular surgery patients
• Evaluate and manage acute cardiovascular surgical conditions
• Perform emergent and urgent cardiovascular surgical procedures as indicated
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiology, critical care, and hospital staff
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR

Required Procedural Experience

• Aneurysm repair
• Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)
• Heart valve replacement procedures
• Other cardiothoracic surgical procedures as needed

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Fellowship training in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery
• Board certified in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery
• Active South Carolina medical license (candidates requiring licensure will not be considered)
• Current ACLS certification
