Job Description
We are seeking a flexible, motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our primary care team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This role is ideal for clinicians who want schedule flexibility while remaining clinically engaged in a collaborative, patient-centered practice.
Locations
Opportunities across metro Atlanta: Alpharetta, Atlanta, Braselton, Dallas, Decatur, Duluth, and Tyrone, GA.
PRN Schedule & expectations
- No minimum weekly commitment required.
- Complete three full training days before starting shifts.
- Complete credentialing prior to scheduling.
- Provide availability in advance; shifts are assigned based on organizational need.
- Open shifts will be posted and may be self-selected; providers must accept at least one offered shift per month to maintain PRN status.
Compensation
- Competitive pay aligned with experience and local market rates.
- Flexible scheduling provides opportunities to supplement income.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care: assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions.
- Perform physical exams and preventive health screenings.
- Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with Georgia regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
- Active, unrestricted Georgia NP or PA license.
- Current DEA registration or ability to obtain one.
- Preferred: 1–2 years of primary care experience; strong new graduates with relevant clinical training will be considered.
