Job Description
Location: Bronx and Brooklyn, NY
Position type: Full-time locums-to-perm (conversion within 3–6 months)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; outpatient only (no inpatient duties)
Compensation: $150 per hour
Clinical setting and model:
- Outpatient practice focused on geriatric population; expanding to include Internal Medicine patients (18+)
- Value-based care model
- Typical daily patient census: 7–10 patients
- Spanish language skills preferred
- Expedited credentialing
Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine
- Active New York State medical license or eligibility
- Medicare and Medicaid provider IDs required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
