Job Description
Join a leading neonatal network as a board-certified Neonatologist delivering world-class care to critically ill and fragile infants in a state-of-the-art Level III NICU. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of neonatologists and pediatric specialists in a collaborative, innovative environment that prioritizes evidence-based medicine, family-centered care, and physician well-being.
The Role:
Manage critically ill and premature infants, from routine to highly complex cases
Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatric subspecialists, nurses, and allied health professionals
Lead quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical research
Mentor and educate staff and families in a compassionate, supportive environment
Participate in a comprehensive NICU network spanning Level II"IV units across Central California
Access immediate subspecialty consultations and advanced medical/surgical interventions
About the Network:
Independent, nonprofit, multidisciplinary pediatric network
50-bed state-of-the-art Level III NICU with continuous in-house physician coverage
Regional network providing seamless transitions and continuity of care
Comprehensive pediatric services: specialty care, primary care, urgent care, women's health, and pediatric surgery
Commitment to family-centered, evidence-based neonatal care
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree
Board-certified in Neonatology (or board-eligible candidates considered)
California medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
Experience managing critically ill neonates in Level III+ settings preferred
Commitment to collaborative, evidence-based, compassionate care
