Locums Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Seattle, Washington. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established emergency medicine team with a variety of shift options and weekend coverage.

Position Highlights

• Varied 9-hour shifts based on facility needs:
• 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM
• 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend coverage required
• No on-call requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a broad range of acute and emergent conditions.
• Perform appropriate emergency procedures and interventions within scope of practice.
• Stabilize and manage critically ill or injured patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing, laboratory studies, and imaging.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Provide appropriate disposition, including admission, discharge, or transfer.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Active Washington medical license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Current DEA registration
