We’re looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible orthopedic surgeon who wants to build a patient-focused practice, collaborate with a dedicated team, and shape a new orthopedic service line in Williamson County.
What this role looks like
- Focus primarily on elective adult reconstruction and total joint procedures while managing a limited amount of acute orthopedic and fracture care.
- Enjoy predictable OR block time available Monday through Friday and steady inpatient support from our hospitalist team.
- Work alongside a collaborative orthopedic group and receive dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) assistance to maximize your clinical efficiency and patient access.
Why this is a great opportunity
- You’ll have the chance to establish and grow a new elective practice on a strong operational foundation with robust administrative and clinical infrastructure.
- Complex trauma is routed to orthopedic traumatology specialists within the health system, allowing you to concentrate on elective and reconstruction cases.
- There’s meaningful opportunity to build referral networks and expand surgical volume while helping shape program development and quality initiatives.
Compensation & benefits
- Competitive base salary starting at $500,000
- Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) retirement plan
- CME allowance and paid onboarding/credentialing
- Full malpractice insurance with tail coverage
- Supportive schedule designed for an excellent work–life balance
Qualifications

- Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Eligible for Illinois medical licensure and hospital privileges
- Interest in building and growing an elective orthopedic and total joints practice
- Comfortable managing a limited caseload of acute orthopedic and fracture patients
Preferred
- Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Replacement
- Experience developing referral networks and growing elective surgical volume
- A strong commitment to patient-centered, high-quality orthopedic care
