TeamHealth is seeking a compassionate and quality-driven physician to join our post-acute care team in Moses Lake, Washington. This is a full-time opportunity (5 days/week) rounding and providing medical directorship in skilled nursing facilities, with excellent support and training, autonomy, and earning potential. Compensation is fee for service with an estimated compensation range of $288,000 to $327,000 annually and no cap on productivity income potential. Medical directorship roles also include monthly stipends.
In this role, you'll provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team, and build meaningful relationships with patients and their families. You will have an opportunity to deliver exceptional care during life's pivotal moments.
Our comprehensive clinical and operational leadership team will support your transition into our medical practice with a comprehensive 3-month onboarding program along with a dedicated clinical field mentor and support from industry leading clinical experts in post-acute medicine. Growth and leadership opportunities within this market are available as well.
Modules in our Medical Director Leadership Academy (MDLA) will position you for success in quality improvement initiatives, and collaboration with the facility leadership as a valued partner of the team. This educational program is best-in-class and not provided by any other organizations practicing post-acute medicine.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of medically complex, high-acuity patients
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans for patients with chronic critical illness and prolonged recovery
- Manage advanced medical conditions including ventilator-dependent patients, wound care, infectious diseases, and post-ICU recovery needs
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach
- Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, treatment plans, goals of care, and long-term recovery expectations
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations
Qualifications
- Current physician license (State of WA) and DEA
- Experience in long-term acute care, inpatient hospital, critical care, or post-acute preferred but not required; new grads welcome to apply
- Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook
