Director, PMHNP Residency Program (Remote)

Join a clinician-founded, clinician-led team delivering mental health care both virtually and in person across Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, and Maryland. We’re looking for an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to design, lead, and grow our PMHNP Residency Program—shaping the next generation of clinicians while supporting high-quality pediatric and adolescent psychiatric care.

What you’ll do

• Build and manage the PMHNP Residency Program and its curriculum from the ground up, ensuring it meets accreditation and quality standards.
• Mentor, supervise, and evaluate residents, providing hands-on clinical teaching and feedback.
• Deliver clinical education with a focus on pediatric and adolescent psychiatry and evidence-based practice.
• Recruit, onboard, and support clinical preceptors and faculty to create a strong training team.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary outpatient care team to integrate residency learning with clinical service.
• Maintain program documentation, monitor outcomes, and lead continuous improvement efforts.
• Support professional development opportunities for residents and faculty to foster ongoing growth.

What we’re looking for

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program and PMHNP-BC certification.
• Active PMHNP/APRN license in PA, VA, NJ, or MD, with the ability to obtain additional state licensure as needed.
• Minimum of 3 years’ PMHNP/CRNP clinical experience and at least 1 year in an educational, supervisory, or leadership role.
• Strong background in pediatric psychiatry and familiarity with evidence-based treatments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of behavioral health regulations and residency accreditation expectations.
