Job Description
We are seeking an Endocrinologist for locum tenens coverage beginning in Pennsylvania. This is a part-time opportunity offering 1–2 weeks of consistent coverage per month with a combination of outpatient endocrinology clinic and overnight/weekend call.
Overview
- 1–2 weeks per month of consistent coverage
- Outpatient clinic + inpatient/outpatient call
- EMR: Epic
- Trauma Level: II
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Sat-Sun weekend call, 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM; no clinic
- Providers see approximately 18–20 patients per day, depending on new vs. established patients
- Providers are responsible for reviewing test results and handling prescription refills, including when not onsite
- Approximately 10 calls per weeknight/weekend
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Endocrinology
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Active Pennsylvania license required
- DEA required
- ACLS and BLS required
- CSR not required
