Endocrinologist-Physician

UPMC North Central Pa. is seeking a BC/BE Endocrinologist to join a collaborative and well-established endocrinology practice in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. This employed opportunity offers a full-spectrum outpatient practice supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team, dedicated diabetes resources, and a schedule designed to promote exceptional work-life balance.

Join an established team consisting of one physician, two CRNPs, two Certified Diabetes Educators, and Registered Dietitians, providing comprehensive endocrine care to a large referral population throughout North Central Pennsylvania.

Practice Highlights

• Established outpatient endocrinology practice with no shortage of patient demand
• Flexible scheduling, including the option for a 4-day, 10-hour workweek
• Approximately 19 patients per day, allowing meaningful patient interactions
• Average 30-minute appointment slots
• APPs see approximately 14-15 patients per day, enhancing patient access and physician efficiency
• Active insulin pump and diabetes management program
• Diabetes Center conveniently located adjacent to the practice
• Opportunity to pursue and develop subspecialty interests within endocrinology
• Perform ultrasound-guided procedures and fine needle aspiration biopsies in the office
• Collaborative support staff including:
  • 4 Office Administrators
  • 2 Registered Nurses
  • 2 Licensed Practical Nurses
• Strong referral network across a large multi-county service area
