Job Summary:

HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is seeking to recruit an interventional pulmonologist to join a very busy private practice which services the needs for the northwest Houston suburb community of Cypress, Texas.

Qualifications:

• Pulmonologist with interventional fellowship training and/or experience in interventional pulmonary medicine
• Board certified experienced physician or board eligible fellow with ability to obtain certification
• An active and clear Texas medical license, or the ability to obtain an active and clear Texas medical license

About the Practice:

The practice has 2 office locations and 3 midlevel providers, and serves both HCA Houston Healthcare Cypress and HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball.

About the Opportunity:

This position will primarily be an outpatient pulmonary practice with a strong procedural focus. The physician's responsibilities would include:

• Performing ION robotic bronchoscopy procedures.
• Leading and expanding our Lung Nodule Program, including participation in the Thoracic and Lung Nodule Conferences.
• Developing and launching an Endobronchial Valve (Zephyr Valve) program for patients with advanced emphysema.
• Supporting continued growth of our interventional pulmonary services across Cypress and Tomball.
• Advanced practice providers manage a significant portion of the outpatient clinic volume, our procedural demand has increased substantially as the practice continues to grow.
