Part-Time Medical Director / Hospitalist (Attending Physician) — Skilled Nursing, Colby KS

Location: Colby, Kansas (additional opportunities available nationwide: GA, IL, IN, LA, MA, MI, MO, NC, OH, TN, WI)

Position type: Part-time Medical Director / Attending Physician covering local skilled nursing facilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership and attending oversight for assigned skilled nursing and long-term care facilities
• Partner with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Conduct on-site patient visits (typically 18–25 visits per day)
• Make clinical decisions, communicate plans to facility staff and families, and ensure continuity of care
• Complete required documentation using company-provided iPad with LTE

Schedule:

• Part-time; physicians generally cover each facility 1–2 days per week
• No fixed daily start/end times
• No overnight shifts and no on-call responsibilities
• Flexible schedule supportive of work–life balance
• New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure encouraged to apply

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and leadership skills
