General Surgery (GS) - Laurium (Keweenaw), Michigan

Aspirus Health is seeking a General Surgeon to join our team in Laurium, Michigan, in the heart of the Upper Peninsula.

This opportunity offers strong clinical and administrative support, along with a welcoming community that values and supports local healthcare providers.

OPPORTUNITY:

• Up to full-time (1.0 FTE); 5-day work week preferred
• Approximately 14 days call/month (30-minute onsite response time)
• Level III trauma center
• General and laparoscopic surgery (hernia repairs, appendectomies, lesion excisions, lumpectomies)
• GI endoscopy (EGD, colonoscopy)
• Inpatient Rounding
• Primary GS clinic located on the hospital campus
• Weekly outreach at Aspirus Houghton Clinic (20-minute drive)
• Primarily adult population w/limited pediatrics
